Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Ezirim Foundation Inc. (“Ezirim Foundation,” “we,” “us”) is a Winnipeg, Manitoba-based nonprofit. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect personal information through www.ezirimfoundation.ca (the “Site”), including our Newcomer Business Launchpad learning platform.

2. Information we collect

• Account information: name and email address when you create a learner account or are added as a staff/admin user.
• Program and course data: enrollment records and your progress through course content (completion status, scores, time spent), so you can resume where you left off.
• Contact form submissions: name, email, subject, and message when you contact us.
• Donation information: name, email, and donation amount. Payment card details are entered directly into Stripe, our payment processor, and never pass through or get stored on our servers.
• Technical data: standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) generated by normal website operation.

3. How we use your information

We use the information above to:

• Create and manage your learner or admin account
• Deliver program content and track your course progress
• Process donations and paid course enrollment through Stripe
• Respond to messages sent through the contact form
• Maintain the security and proper functioning of the Site
• Meet our legal, tax, and charitable reporting obligations

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

4. Third parties we share data with

• Stripe — processes donation and course payments. See Stripe's privacy policy.
• Database and hosting providers — store account, enrollment, and progress data on our behalf, under contractual confidentiality obligations.

We do not share your personal information with any other third party except where required by law.

5. Cookies

We use a single essential session cookie to keep you signed in to your account. We do not currently use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. If we add analytics in the future, this policy will be updated accordingly.

6. Data retention

We keep account and enrollment data for as long as your account is active, and donation records for as long as required for financial and charitable reporting purposes. You can request deletion of your account at any time — see Section 7.

7. Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing ezrae@ezirimfoundation.ca. We will respond within a reasonable time and in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy law.

8. Children's privacy

Our programs are designed for adult entrepreneurs. The Site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision.
